Configuration Tool
It is a simple text tool which is used to set up the user environment.
Once selected, the setup is saved in the users $HOME/tmp directory
and is re-used the next time the Configuration window is opened.
Configuration Tool entries are:
- Observer's name
- Camera setup with:
- Camera System option menu. Current choices are:
OMEGA (PRIME or CASS), MAGIC (BLUE or BLACK), MAX (128 or 256);
- Optics - camera optics depending on the camera selected;
- Connected tells whether the camera electronics is
connected to the system or not.
- Telescope setup with:
- Telescope option menu. Current choices are:
CA 3.5, 2.2, 1.2, UKIRT, HD 0.7, Lab;
- Focal Ratio - depends on the telescope and camera selected;
- Connected tells whether the telescope control is
connected to the system or not.
- Initialize button sends initialization trigger to the
Data Base and, if it is real initialization
and not reconfiguration, starts gp_open script, which in turn opens all
YOGI graphic tools.
- Cancel button quits initialization or reconfiguration
process.
