Files in this directory contain photometry of Carina Dwarf Galaxy
presented in Udalski  1998, Acta Astron., 48, 113 and Acta Astron., 50, 279.

The directory structure is as follows:

README        -  this file

car_dg.vi.gz  -  gzipped photometry file with VI photometry of Carina DG


The photometry file contains the following columns:
 
DB_no  x_V y_V  x_I  y_I  V  V-I I  N_ok_V N_bad_V sig_V  N_ok_I N_bad_I sig_I
 
where
 
DB_no  - number in the database.

x_V, y_V - position in the V-band template image (in pixels).
           N is up and E to the right in pixel coordinate system.

x_I, y_I - position in the I-band template image (in pixels).
           N is up and E to the right in pixel coordinate system.
 
V, V-I, I  - photometry data,
 
N_ok_V N_bad_V sig_V - number of good and bad observations and sigma in 
                       the V-band.

N_ok_I N_bad_I sig_I - number of good and bad observations and sigma in
                       the I-band.


WARNING!!! "Magic" numbers: 99.999 for magnitude and 9.999 for color
and standard deviation denote "no measurement".
