The first issue of "Przygoda" weekly appeared on 15 February 1957, and the last issue a year later. It was not a strictly comic magazine. Much more numerous than comic strips were stories, interesting facts, advises, etc. Comics, especially those in the first issues, were very poor, untidy, the plots were probably made up from number to number. Also very poor was the quality of the paper and printing.
Janusz Christa made his debut in "Przygoda" with a story about two boys titled "Kuku Ryku".
After many years he said about the magazine:
"At that time nobody knew how the comic magazine should be created. Somebody hit on an idea: 'we will publish comics!'; the other said: 'my aunt draws very nicely'; the third added: 'my relative does not draw but he would like to...' and this was the beginning. This was the bottom, trash, the worst amateurish work...".
