Tadeusz Baranowski is a graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts. Since 1973 for many years he co-operated with "Swiat Mlodych". One of the journalists from this magazine prepared a script and induced Baranowski to write his first comic. Next stories he decided to think up himself. The author remembered that the first episode about Profesorek Nerwosolek has never been published because the editor of "Alfa" did not like the title of the comic. In 1976 Baranowski co-operated with "Relax" where his "Orient Men" appeared.
In 1984 Rosinski invited him to Belgium to colour "Thorgal". However Baranowski decided to choose his own artistic way. He estimates this Belgian episode rather negatively as he was forced to change his way of drawing, to understand the foreign reader's turn of mind and even to imitate other author's style (for what he did not agree).
He created his own, full of imagination style. His not trite sense of humour gained many lovers. Besides comics Baranowski carried on applied art, created get-ups of books and magazines, painted and illustrated children books. Nowadays he co-operates with a magazine "Swiat Komiksu", where we can see a new adventures of Orient Men.
