"Relax" - a comic stories magazine - had been published between 1976 and 1981 (31 issues). The best and well-known Polish authors co-operated with the magazine: Rosinski, Christa, Wroblewski, Szyszko and also Mleczko, Lutczyn, Kobylinski.
Except articles of Henryk Kurta in the first three issues, there was no comic commentary. Similary to all magazines for young people at that times, "Relax" had propaganda and ideological contents (especially comics of Jerzy Wroblewski), but most of them were interesting and professional.
In the first issues we could read about adventures of Orient Men (Baranowski) and a great Polch's short entitled "Spotkanie". Polish fans of comic art for the first time met "Thorgal" (next opportunity like this one appeared 10 years later). There was also published "Kajko i Kokosz", "Opowiesci nie z tej ziemi" drawn by Witold Parzydlo, quite good works of Marek Szyszko. The most numerous were stories drawn by the most prolific comic drawer - Jerzy Wroblewski; he drawn historical, adventure, criminal and science-fiction comics. Within the confines of exchange of experiences "Relax" published Karel Saudek's (from former Czechoslovakia) works and quite poor in my opinion Hungarian comics. The magazine has very high edition of 200000 copies. In the last issue there were finished all the series which had begun earlier.
